With the rapid development of industries such as aerospace, integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, and biomedicine, polyimide (PI) research and products are leading the technological trends. An increasing number of innovative materials have entered the stage of large-scale application. According to industry forecasts, the global PI market is expected to achieve a compound annual growth rate of 10% by 2029. However, the industry faces significant challenges, including the complexity of PI materials, the high technical requirements, and the great difficulty in innovation. Another challenge facing the industry is how to deepen research and development innovation and strengthen industry chain collaboration.
为了发挥科技创新的关键和中坚作用，加速国际聚酰亚胺前沿科学技术交流，推进关联交叉学科发展，促进聚酰亚胺成果转化和推广应用。上海交通大学、中国科学院过程工程研究所、日本东京科学大学等单位定于2025年7月9-12日在上海市举办2025国际聚酰亚胺会议（IPIC2025）。
To leverage the key and pivotal role of scientific and technological innovation, accelerate the exchange of cutting-edge PI science and technology, promote the development of related interdisciplinary fields, and facilitate the transformation and widespread application of PI research outcomes, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Institute of Science Tokyo in Japan will jointly organize the 2025 International Polyimide Conference (IPIC 2025) in Shanghai from July 9th to 12th, 2025.
本次论坛将邀请中日韩等国聚酰亚胺领域的顶尖专家学者、青年学生、企业代表、技术研发人员等，开展深入交流研讨，旨在通过高效交流、展示与合作，搭建一个国际化、高层次、全方位的交流平台，促进全球聚酰亚胺行业产学研用深度融合，推动聚酰亚胺产业高质量发展，为促进战略性新兴产业和未来产业的发展贡献力量。论坛期间，还将进行聚酰亚胺产学研对接及科研成果、新技术、新产品、先进设备及成功案例展示，并设立青年科学家论坛，助力青年学者成长。
The forum will invite top experts and scholars, young students, enterprise representatives, and technology developers from China, Japan, South Korea, and other countries in the field of PI materials for in-depth discussions and exchanges. Through communication, exhibitions and collaboration, the forum aims to establish a high-level international and comprehensive platform for the PI community, promoting the integration across industry, academia, research and application. This will help drive the high-quality development of the PI industry and contribute to the advancement of strategic emerging industries and future industries. During the forum, there will be sessions for industry-academia-research collaboration, as well as exhibitions showcasing research achievements, new technologies, new products, advanced equipment, and successful case studies. A Young Scientists Forum will also be established to support the growth of young scholars.
